It is not hard to install monitors into your car visors. The first thing you should always concern yourself with is safety. Disconnect the car battery before you attempt to do anything else. Unscrew the screws that are holding the original visors in place. The screws should be visible on or around the bracket. It is recommended that you keep the originals so that you can put them back on when you decide to sell the car.

You then installed the new car DVD monitor on each side of the car or you might want to just install one monitor on the passenger side. You will need to run an A/V power cable from each monitor that you just installed. You have the option to run visors into one jack or into two separate A/V jacks. You will want to conceal the wiring as much as possible. Never allow any cables to be hanging down.

Of course, you will need a video system installed to make the monitors work. You can watch movies or play video games depending on the entertainment setup that you have in your vehicle. Remember that you can only have a car DVD monitor on when the car is not in motion.
